5/13/09: Special Events hoted by UCBerkely May 28 through May 30th. UC Berkeley is hosting the Pan Am Open division competition, a black belt only tournament (for competitors 15 to 36 in age) Twelve (12) Korean competitors from Yongin University Team will compete in both the Pan Am Open and the 40th Annual UC Open Taekwondo Championship.

IIn conjunction with the Pan Am Open, UC Berekely is also hosting a special sparring clinic on May 27th, from 7 to 9 pm. This special sparring clinic is FREE to PacWest competitors, if you sign up for either the Pan Am open or 40th UC Open TKD championship. This is a great learning experience since it this clinic is only open to blackbelts and refereed by International or National referees. To take advantage of this special offer, contact your PacWest Coach immediately.

04/30/07 - PacWest welcomes UC Irvine to the league.

03/31/09 - Congratulations to everyone who competed in the 2009 NCTA Championships held On March 21-22, 2009. PacWest schools dominated the Black Belt Championship Division: In 1st place - UC Berkeley; 2nd place - Stanford; and 3rd place - UCLA. In addtion Outstanding Freshman Female Athlete of the year was awarded to Olivia Ngai, UC Berkeley and Coach of the Year was awarded to Mr. Tim Ghormley, Stanford University . 03/27/09 - The 2009 PacWest Individual Championship of All Stars will be held on April 19, 2009 and is hosted by UC Davis. (This event follows the Aggie Throwdown.)
